And lastly, what's the story? How did you discover this plant? Paint us a picture!: I was walking around the local amazing nursery and they had a HUGE monstera aurea so I rubbed a leaf for a little luck. I found a monstera there with a tiny white spot and debated getting it, but just didn’t think it’d go any further. I had a few minutes to spare, but was kinda beat so I debated going to Home Depot on my way back home. I said, shoot, why not and walked in the Home Depot garden center. I looked through a couple racks of the tons of monstera they had and one caught my eye. I thought like guy, they have messed up all its leaves….nope!! They were variegated and the variegation was dying! I said no, couldn’t be and dug through the rack to see the stems and OMG stripes!!!! I might have cried 3 or 4 tears right there in the Home Depot. I was so excited!
