And lastly, what's the story? How did you discover this plant? Paint us a picture!: My dad was going to Home Depot and I asked to come along because we were shopping for plants for our garden. I saw around 10 pots of young monstera and thought I'd take a look not expecting to find anything. As I was going through there was an older woman hovering above me and going in and out of the aisle I was in. I continued searching and found the sport noticing the first leaf's white and mint colors and a second leaf was unfurling and I could see the white variegation on it. The first thought that ran through my head was, "Oh my god. I'm gonna throw up." I ran to my dad and said "I found one!!!!" There were a few pots left so I thought I would continue to look considering the one I just found. As I was looking the old woman came to me and said, "You know, I see you looking through each pot and looking at each leaf. What are you looking for?" I quickly explained to her about mutations and sport hunting and showed her the one I just found. She said it was beautiful and that she would keep an eye out for anything like that and thanked me.
Left with the sport (I did not throw up).
