Your Full Name: Theresa Collins-Hill

Last Name of the Person Who Discovered The Potential Sport: Collins-Hill

Have you submitted a sport before? And if so, what number would this submission be?: 1

Mutation Expression: Green on Green (GoG)

Color/Pattern Description: Sectored (Large sections of the leaves contain solid expressions of the mutation)

Does your sport have any morphological properties that are consistent? Such as strange shaped leaves, odd textures, etc. If so, please describe:: No

Have you propagated this sport yet?: Yes

If so, how many successful propagations have you managed so far? And what were your primary methods?: This has been growing at my family homestead for 50 or so years I moved some to my house a dozen years ago. Literally ripped up 20’ or so, and tossed on the ground at the base of some of my oak trees. Now that I know it’s a stable sport, I’m going to chop and prop the ones with the most unusual variegation

Have you had any reversions? If so how many from your total propagation numbers?: Unknown

When did the mutation occur?: Mature stage

And lastly, what's the story? How did you discover this plant? Paint us a picture!: A friend is more into the aroids than I. My daughter said she was going to rip all of the huge clump of monstera up, and take it to the burn pile. My friend wanted some… she discovered the variegation in her cutting, but thought little of it. She has been getting more and more desperate to get additional cuttings. She finally let it slip that a friend of hers is a collector, and seller. He told her it could be worth lots of $$$$. Instead of it going to the burn pile, now, I will be propagating it and having a trusted friend help me market it.
